Cape Town will become a meeting point for the international mineral processing community when IMPC 2026 takes place from 18–22 October 2026. Hosted by SAIMM, the congress presents an opportunity for professionals, researchers and industry leaders to exchange ideas, build international connections and engage directly with developments influencing mineral processing.
The congress experience extends beyond the conference sessions, with three technical visit opportunities offering delegates a closer look at mineral processing technology and operations. These include visits to Stone Three, focusing on industrial IoT, AI and process optimisation; Paterson & Cooke, featuring its integrated metallurgical test facility; and Ore to Shore – The West Coast Discovery, combining a visit to the Kropz Elandsfontein Phosphate Mine and Plant with the geological and environmental attractions of the West Coast.
