About the Presenter

Badisheng Morena

Badisheng is a Mining Engineer with 12+ years of experience working in various roles in the mining industry.  He possess an MSc degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. His  research was based on predicting blast vibrations using eight machine learning algorithms and two empirical models. He has worked in project management, production, transport, education and software industries. 

Badisheng has been at Maptek for over 5 years now, having started out as a BlastLogic Technical Consultant and worked into a sales and Business Development role. He is now a Business Development Manager for Maptek's Africa region.

• 08:00: End of breakfast talk.

Following the talk, we will walk across the road for a coffee/quick breakfast at a local restaurant/cafeteria at Thrupps Centre.
