What contribution do you see yourself making to the Young Professionals Council and the SAIMM? :
As a YPC member of SAIMM I see myself encouraging young leaders of tomorrow especially women and girls to take up more careers in STEM particularly in the mining sector. I hope to also bring more awareness towards SAIMM through social media activity particularly on LinkedIn.

Brief career history:
I began my graduate program in Metallurgy in 2021, starting my career as a professional in training. Over the next two years, I worked at Sishen Mine in the Crushing, DMS, and QAQC divisions. My responsibilities included ensuring plant stability and leading projects aimed at business improvement.

Currently, I am based at Kolomela Mine, where I oversee operations at the Load Out Station. My duties involve ensuring that production targets are met, investigating operational issues, and implementing changes to drive continuous improvement. I am now acting as a metallurgist in the QAQC division, applying my expertise to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
